Section 5-62-109 - Immunity - Veterinarians

(a) A licensed veterinarian or a person acting at the direction of a licensed veterinarian in Arkansas is: (1) Held harmless from either criminal or civil liability for any decision made or service rendered in conjunction with this subchapter; and(2) Immune from suit for his or her part in an investigation of cruelty to animals.(b) A veterinarian or person acting at the direction of a licensed veterinarian who participates or reports in bad faith or with malice is not protected under this subchapter.Acts 2009, No. 33, § 3.
