(a) It is unlawful for any person, partnership, company, or corporation cutting any timber or tree in this state to leave any tree top, tree trunk, or tree limb in any navigable stream, drainage ditch, or stream bed of any improved drainage project.(b)(1) Any person, partnership, company, or corporation violating a provision of this section is guilty of a Class B misdemeanor.(2) Each violation of this section constitutes a separate offense.Acts 1965, No. 91, §§ 1, 2; A.S.A. 1947, §§ 41-4066, 41-4067; Acts 2005, No. 1994, § 383.
