Section 6-4-104 - Agent for out-of-state education

(a) The Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board is designated the agent for the State of Arkansas for the purpose of entering into a program of out-of-state training and education for residents of Arkansas through the cooperation of the Board of Control for Southern Regional Education, which was created by interstate compact with Arkansas, a signatory pursuant to House Concurrent Resolution 13, approved March 2, 1949.(b) The Division of Higher Education is hereby authorized to administer the program.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 1048, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1957, No. 243, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-3704; Acts 1993, No. 1259, § 2; 1999, No. 1218, § 1.
