Section 6-13-104 - Uncertain boundaries

(a) When there is a doubt as to the boundaries of a school district because of lost records or other uncertainty, the State Board of Education shall: (1) Issue an order fixing the boundaries; and(2) File the order with the: (A) County clerk of each county where the school district lies;(B) Secretary of State; and(C) Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Office.(b) The county clerk shall make a permanent record of the order.(c) The school district boundaries fixed under this section shall be the boundaries of the school district until changes are made according to the provisions of law.Amended by Act 2015, No. 103,§ 1, eff. 7/22/2015.Acts 1931, No. 169, § 76; Pope's Dig., § 11512; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-425; Acts 1993, No. 294, § 6; 1999, No. 1078, § 26; 2011, No. 989, § 3.
