Section 6-13-1016 - Annual surveys and needs assessments

(a) Each education service cooperative shall conduct annual surveys and needs assessments to assist the education service cooperative in its first priority of helping school districts improve their educational programs and practices.(b) Such activities may include written surveys, visits to schools to meet with local personnel, and other means to identify local needs throughout the service area.(c) Each education service cooperative shall work with the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education to conduct statewide surveys which complement, rather than duplicate, the work of the division.(d) The objective shall be to obtain statewide, area, and local data with as little duplication as possible.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 1138, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1985, No. 349, § 7; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-489.6.
