(a) The county board of election commissioners shall give notice of all school elections under § 7-5-202.(b) If a school election for a school district that includes more than one (1) county is conducted by the county board of election commissioners for the domicile county and no county board of election commissioners for a nondomicile county, the notice of election shall be published in one (1) or more newspapers of general circulation in each of the counties in which the district has territory.(c) The county board of election commissioners shall publish notice of an issue to be placed on the ballot in the manner provided under § 7-5-206.Amended by Act 2019, No. 473,§ 2, eff. 7/24/2019.Amended by Act 2016EX3, No. 15,§ 3, eff. 5/23/2016.Amended by Act 2016EX3, No. 14,§ 3, eff. 5/23/2016.Acts 1951, No. 403, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-319; Acts 1999, No. 1490, § 1; 2005, No. 1174, § 4.
