Section 6-15-2001 - Intent

It is the intent of the General Assembly subsequent to § 6-15-2004 that:(1) Each student's progression from one (1) grade to another be determined, in part, upon proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics;(2) District school board of directors policies facilitate such proficiency; and(3) Each student and his or her parent be informed of the student's academic progress.Acts 2003 (2nd Ex.
