Section 6-16-150 - Credit for completing military basic training

A student in high school who enlists in a branch of the United States Armed Forces or the National Guard through the military delayed entry program, the National Guard Split Training Option, or other similar early entry program and completes basic training before graduating from high school shall receive two (2) units of the career focus graduation requirements under the Standards for Accreditation of Arkansas Public Schools and School Districts adopted by the State Board of Education.Added by Act 2017, No. 1064,§ 1, eff. 8/1/2017.
