(a) Upon making any award to or in behalf of an employee of any school district, the Workers' Compensation Commission shall notify the appropriate officer of the school district and shall notify the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education.(b) If the salary or compensation of the employee in whose behalf the award was made is paid wholly or partly from federal funds, the division is authorized to transfer funds from the federal funds available for the program under which such employee was paid to the Public School Fund to reimburse the Public School Fund for funds transferred to the Workers' Compensation Revolving Fund as provided for in this subchapter.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 1474, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1971, No. 223, § 5; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-1241.
