As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise requires:(1)(A) 'Classified employee' means any employee of a public school district in Arkansas who performs work for the school district and who is not required to hold a valid teaching license issued by the State Board of Education as a condition of employment.(B) 'Classified employee' does not include a nonlicensed teacher; and(2) 'Full-time classified employee' means any classified employee who works twenty (20) or more hours per week for the public school district.Amended by Act 2021, No. 774,§ 5, eff. 7/28/2021.Acts 2001, No. 1138, § 1.
