Section 6-18-229 - Service as page for General Assembly

If a student is invited by a member of the General Assembly to serve as a page for the General Assembly during a legislative session, the student shall be considered on instructional assignment and shall not be considered absent from school for the one (1) day the student is serving as a page, and he or she may be allowed additional instructional assignment days at the discretion of the school district.Acts 2005, No. 2199, § 1.
