Section 6-18-606 - Soliciting pledges

It shall be unlawful from and after the passage of this act for any person not enrolled in a public school of this state to solicit any pupil enrolled in a public school of this state to join or pledge himself or herself to become a member of a public school fraternity, sorority, or other secret organization or society, or to solicit any such pupil to attend a meeting thereof or any meeting in which the joining of any public school fraternity, sorority, or other secret organization or society shall be encouraged.Acts 1929, No. 171, § 4; Pope's Dig., § 3607; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-2004.
