Section 6-18-717 - Feminine hygiene products - Required to be provided - Definition

(a) A public school or open-enrollment public charter school serving students in grades six through twelve (6-12) shall inform public school students of the availability of feminine hygiene products at no charge from the public school or open-enrollment public charter school in a specified location in the public school or open-enrollment public charter school.(b) As used in this section, 'feminine hygiene products' means tampons and sanitary napkins for use in connection with the menstrual cycle.Added by Act 2021, No. 933,§ 1, eff. 7/28/2021.
