Section 6-21-109 - Rules governing public works projects - Definition

(a) The Commission for Arkansas Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation, after consulting with the Building Authority Division and any other entities, shall establish rules applicable to public educational entities for all public works projects when the public educational entity uses its own employees or acts as a general contractor.(b)(1) As used in this section, 'public educational entities' means Arkansas public school districts, public charter schools, education service cooperatives, or any publicly supported entity having supervision over public educational entities.(2) 'Public educational entities' does not include institutions of higher education.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 6054, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 2001, No. 1204, § 1; 2007, No. 186, § 1; 2007, No. 617, § 25; 2009, No. 1472, § 1.
