Section 6-21-115 - Name of division - Operation - Director

(a) The division established under § 6-21-112 within the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education shall be known as the 'Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation'.(b)(1) The Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation shall operate under the direction, control, and supervision of the Commission for Arkansas Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation.(2) The Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation shall not operate under the direction, control, and supervision of the State Board of Education.(c) The Director of the Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation shall be selected by the commission and shall serve at the pleasure of the commission.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 1726, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 2005, No. 1672, § 5; 2006 (1st Ex.
