Section 6-43-302 - Real and personal property

(a) The Board of Trustees of the Arkansas School for the Blind and the Arkansas School for the Deaf may take and hold in trust for the state to the use of the Arkansas School for the Deaf any lands conveyed or devised and any money or other personal property given or bequeathed, to be applied to the use and benefit of the school.(b) All property pertaining to the Arkansas School for the Deaf shall be exempt from taxation.Acts 1868, No. 36, §§ 4, 22, p. 115; 1869 (Adj.
