Section 6-60-402 - Authorization to establish extension courses

(a) The boards of trustees of state-supported institutions of higher education of this state are authorized to establish in communities in the areas served by the respective institutions, where there is an established need therefor, extension courses of higher education instruction leading to a certificate or college credit.(b) Such courses or programs of instruction or training may be scheduled on a daily or night basis, whichever is necessary to meet the educational or training needs of the communities served.Acts 1975, No. 717, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-3368.
