Section 6-61-212 - State agency for federal programs

In order to promote a coordinated system of higher education in Arkansas and to assure an orderly and effective development of each of the publicly supported institutions of higher education, the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board shall have the power and duty to serve as the state agency of this state for such federal programs which can most appropriately be administered by it.Acts 1977, No. 560, § 4; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-4904.
