Section 6-63-312 - Contingency appropriations - Transfers and reports

(a) Upon approval by the Division of Higher Education and the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State, institutions of higher education may transfer appropriation from the cash contingency appropriation to any other appropriation made to the institution from cash funds and institutions may transfer appropriation from the contingency appropriation made payable from each institution's State Treasury fund to the state operations appropriation made payable from each institution's State Treasury fund.(b) The division shall report monthly to the Legislative Council these appropriation transfers, and the report shall include, by institution, the amounts transferred, the reasons therefor, and the source of the funds.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 2009, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1983, No. 147, § 8; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-5608; Acts 2005, No. 2124, § 31.
