(a) A position authorized as extra help in an institution of higher education shall be assigned a title authorized by an institution's operative appropriation act, and any person hired in an extra help position shall meet the minimum qualifications for the position.(b) Extra help employees of institutions shall not exceed one thousand five hundred (1,500) hours per fiscal year as set out in § 6-63-314.Added by Act 2023, No. 778,§ 4, eff. 7/1/2023.
