Section 6-64-502 - Admission of other patients not affected by subchapter

Nothing in this subchapter shall be construed to interfere with the admission of patients at the State Medical Center who have the ability to pay for medical care received, nor shall this subchapter interfere with or affect the admission of welfare patients at the medical center where the cost of such care is paid by the Department of Human Services according to an approved plan for medical care and hospitalization established for public welfare patients by the department.Acts 1959, No. 259, § 2; 1963, No. 183, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-2923.
