Section 6-64-701 - Acceptance of federal aid

The assent of the General Assembly is given:(1) For the purpose of the grants made in 7 U.S.C. § 361a et seq., the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas may accept any sums coming to the State of Arkansas under that federal act and apply them for the benefit of the Division of Agriculture of the University of Arkansas in accordance with the terms and conditions expressed in the Act of Congress referred to above;(2) To the provisions and requirements of an Act of Congress entitled 'An act to provide for cooperative agricultural extension work between the agricultural colleges in the several states,' known as the Smith-Lever Act, 7 U.S.C. § 341 et seq., the board may receive any sums coming to the State of Arkansas under that federal act, and apply them for the benefit of the division in accordance with the terms and conditions expressed in the Act of Congress referred to above; and(3) To the provisions and requirements of the federal act of October 10, 1962, popularly known as the McIntire-Stennis Cooperative Forestry Research Program, 16 U.S.C. § 582a et seq., the board may receive any sums coming to the State of Arkansas under that federal act, and apply them for the
