Section 6-65-101 - State divided into districts

For the purpose of this chapter, the State of Arkansas is divided into the following districts:(1) The First District shall be composed of the counties of Baxter, Fulton, Sharp, Randolph, Clay, Greene, Lawrence, Izard, Stone, Independence, Jackson, Craighead, Poinsett, Mississippi, Crittenden, Cross, St. Francis, Woodruff, White, and Cleburne;(2) The Second District shall be composed of the counties of Marion, Boone, Carroll, Benton, Washington, Madison, Newton, Searcy, Van Buren, Conway, Pope, Johnson, Franklin, Crawford, Sebastian, Logan, Yell, Perry, Scott, Faulkner, Fulton, Stone, Cleburne, Izard, Saline, Montgomery, Polk, Pulaski, Garland, and Baxter; and(3) The Third District shall be composed of the counties of Polk, Montgomery, Garland, Saline, Pulaski, Hot Spring, Pike, Howard, Sevier, Little River, Hempstead, Clark, Nevada, Ouachita, Columbia, Lafayette, Miller, and Union.Acts 1909, No. 100, § 1, p. 295; C. & M.
