The improvements undertaken by this chapter shall not exceed ten percent (10%) of the valuation of the real property in the district, subject to improvement district assessment, as ascertained by the county assessment of the property referred to heretofore. However, this limitation of ten percent (10%) of valuation shall not prevent an annual assessment as provided in this chapter for the maintenance of the improvement.Acts 1949, No. 260, § 9; A.S.A. 1947, § 80-3611.
