Section 8-6-1201 - Legislative intent

The purpose of this subchapter is to protect the public health and the state's environmental quality by establishing standards and promulgating rules by the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission for the disposal of potentially harmful materials, specifically incinerator ash and petroleum-contaminated soils in a permitted landfill.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 570, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1991, No. 1183, § 1.
