(a) Nothing in this subchapter shall be construed to affect the authority of cities and counties to enact zoning regulations or procedures that control the location of medical waste facilities or sites.(b) This subchapter shall be liberally construed so as to achieve remedial intent.Acts 1992 (1st Ex.
