The purpose of this subchapter is to protect the public health and safety by requiring the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission to establish standards and promulgate rules regarding the post-closure use of solid waste landfills and adjacent areas for residential purposes.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 578, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1993, No. 718, § 1.
