(a) All existing rules of the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission relating to subjects embraced within this subchapter shall remain in full force and effect until expressly repealed, amended, or superseded by the commission.(b) All orders entered, permits granted, and pending legal proceedings instituted by the commission relating to subjects embraced within this subchapter shall remain unimpaired and in full force and effect until superseded by actions taken by the commission under this subchapter.(c) No existing civil or criminal remedies, public or private, for any wrongful action shall be excluded or impaired by this subchapter. Nothing in this subchapter shall be construed to limit or supersede the provisions of the Arkansas Water and Air Pollution Control Act, § 8-4-101 et seq., or any action taken by the commission under the Arkansas Water and Air Pollution Control Act, § 8-4-101 et seq.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 538, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1971, No. 237, § 12; A.S.A. 1947, § 82-2712.
