If any county fails to qualify for its proportionate share of the moneys in the County Solid Waste Management System Aid Fund during any fiscal year, then the moneys shall be reapportioned among the various counties which qualify to receive their proportionate share of the fund moneys during the fiscal year, in accordance with the distribution formula set forth in § 8-6-303. The Treasurer of State shall monthly distribute moneys to the eligible counties as authorized in this subchapter in the same manner as other county aid funds are distributed. The moneys shall be credited and used solely for the support and operation of the county solid waste management system.Acts 1985, No. 986, § 4; 1985, (1st Ex.
