Section 8-7-603 - Approval and issuance of permits

Neither the Division of Environmental Quality nor any other agency or authority having the responsibility for approving and issuing permits for facilities for the disposal or storage of low-level radioactive waste in this state shall have the authority to approve or issue a permit for any facility unless the facility will fully comply with the requirements of this subchapter in all respects.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 2776, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1987, No. 562, § 3; 1999, No. 1164, § 101.
