Section 9-3-113 - Declarations of applicant

Before he or she is permitted under this chapter to be declared a resident domiciled in the State of Arkansas, the applicant shall declare in open court that he or she is a resident of Arkansas and that Arkansas is his or her domicile, that he or she absolutely and entirely renounces residence and domicile in the state in which he or she formerly resided, and that he or she will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America and of the State of Arkansas.Acts 1941, No. 355, § 14; A.S.A. 1947, § 34-1317
