(a) The Governor shall award the Governor's Pro Bono Adoption Service Award by proclamation in recognition of the efforts and sacrifice of those attorneys who provide adoption services on a volunteer basis.(b) Those receiving the Governor's Pro Bono Adoption Service Award shall be selected from a list of names that may be submitted annually to the Governor by judges, attorneys, the Department of Human Services, and other related organizations, agencies, and professional associations.Acts 2001, No. 1273, § 1
