This subchapter shall apply to a transfer within the scope of § 9-26-202 made after March 21, 1985, if:(1) the transfer purports to have been made under the Arkansas Uniform Gifts to Minors Act [repealed]; or(2) the instrument by which the transfer purports to have been made uses in substance the designation 'as custodian under the Arkansas Uniform Gifts to Minors Act [repealed]' or 'as custodian under the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act' of any other state, and the application of this subchapter is necessary to validate the transfer.Acts 1985, No. 476, § 21; A.S.A. 1947, § 50-954
