Section 9-28-1301 - Definitions

As used in this subchapter:(1) 'Psychiatric residential treatment facility' means the same as defined in § 9-28-402; and(2) 'Regulated facility' means: (A) A psychiatric residential treatment facility licensed under the Child Welfare Agency Licensing Act, § 9-28-401 et seq.; and(B) A psychiatric hospital licensed under § 20-9-201 et seq., that admits a child for the purpose of providing behavioral health treatment, regardless of whether the child is placed in an acute, subacute, or otherwise unlicensed bed.Added by Act 2023, No. 806,§ 2, eff. 8/1/2023.
