2244. All expenses which are ordered by the board of supervisors for the office, furniture, supplies, effects, and equipment for the commissioner are a county charge. The board of supervisors shall allow and pay such expenses out of the general fund of the county.(Enacted by Stats. 1967, Ch. 15.)
