73352. Following a favorable referendum conducted prior to September 30, 1988, a referendum shall be conducted by the commission every fifth year thereafter between October 1st and September 30, following procedures provided in this article, unless a referendum is conducted as the result of a petition filed pursuant to Section 73353. In that case, the referendum shall be every fifth year following the industry petitioned referendum.(Added by Stats. 1983, Ch. 494, Sec. 1. Effective July 28, 1983.)
