§ 77603

The secretary shall establish a period, which shall not be less than 10 days or more than 60 days, to conduct the referendum and may prescribe additional procedures that may be necessary to conduct the referendum. If the initial period established is less than 60 days, the secretary may extend the period, except that the total referendum period shall not exceed 60 days.(Amended by Stats. 1995, Ch. 727, Sec. 130. Effective January 1, 1996.)
