Upon recommendation by the council, the director may adopt, consistent with this chapter, any regulations relating to the administration and enforcement of this chapter necessary to carry out the purposes and attain the objectives of this chapter. However, the director shall not engage in any seafood education, research, or promotion activity without the approval of a majority of the voting members of the council.(Added by Stats. 1990, Ch. 1151, Sec. 1.)
