79009. The commission form of administration created by this chapter is uniquely situated to provide those engaged in the sea urchin fishery the opportunity to avail themselves of the benefits of collective action within the broad fields of fishery management, resource protection and enhancement, harvesting and processing practices, and market development, expansion, and research necessary to achieve the purposes of this act.(Added by Stats. 2002, Ch. 973, Sec. 2.
