§ 5927

5927. (a) If the secretary finds that a favorable vote has not been given as provided in this article, this article shall become inoperative within one year of the end of the referendum period.(b) If the secretary finds that a favorable vote has been given as provided in this article, he or she shall certify and give notice of the favorable vote to all persons whose names and addresses may be on file with the secretary as provided in Section 5922. (Added by Stats. 2009, Ch. 426, Sec. 1. (AB 281) Effective October 11, 2009. Note: Inoperation clause in subd. (a) applies to Article 2, comprising Sections 5911 to 5940.)
