In addition to any other authority in this part that is available to the director for the purpose of preventing the spread of any disease of livestock, the director may adopt regulations to prevent the spread within this state of bovine brucellosis through limitations on movement of bovine animals or through such tests or vaccinations or other means as he may find and determine to be necessary. If he finds and determines that similar regulations are necessary interstate, he shall notify the Governor in order that the procedure which is set forth in Section 9570 may be followed.(Enacted by Stats. 1967, Ch. 15.)
