If any owner or person that is in charge of cattle, after 10 days’ written notice by the department, refuses properly to confine in corrals, stanchions, or chutes, any cattle within a brucellosis control area which are required to be tested and identified pursuant to this chapter, the owner is guilty of a misdemeanor and the department may in such case incur such expense as is necessary to properly confine and identify the cattle.(Enacted by Stats. 1967, Ch. 15.)
