§ 15102

15102. (a) Upon the filing of a complaint pursuant to Section 15101, the secretary shall conduct an investigation with regard to the safety of whole hays.(b) Absent the filing of a complaint pursuant to Section 15101, the secretary may conduct an investigation with regard to the safety of whole hays if he or she determines that an investigation is necessary in order to protect animal health or the health of the public.(Added by Stats. 1996, Ch. 325, Sec. 4.
