18980. (a) The application fee for a livestock meat inspector’s license or a processing inspector’s license is one hundred dollars ($100). If an applicant for a license does not take the examination within one year after the date of the receipt of the application by the secretary, the application expires. Reexamination requires the payment of an additional application fee.(b) Each license shall expire on the last day of the calendar year for which it is issued. The fee shall not be prorated.(c) This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2027, and as of that date is repealed, unless a later enacted statute, that is enacted before January 1, 2027, deletes or extends that date.(Amended by Stats. 2021, Ch. 392, Sec. 1. (SB 815) Effective January 1, 2022. Repealed as of January 1, 2027, by its own provisions.)
