§ 18758

A livestock or poultry product is adulterated in each of the following cases:(a) Any valuable constituent has been in whole or in part omitted or abstracted from the livestock or poultry product.(b) Any substance has been substituted, wholly or in part, for any valuable constituent.(c) Damage or inferiority has been concealed in any manner.(d) Any substance has been added to the livestock or poultry product, or mixed or packed with it, so as to increase its bulk or weight, or reduce its quality or strength, or make it appear of a better value than it is.(Repealed and added by Stats. 1970, Ch. 1385.)
