§ 18813

18813. The director shall not provide inspection under this chapter at any establishment for the slaughter of livestock or poultry or the preparation of any livestock product or poultry product that is not intended for use as human food. The product, unless naturally inedible by humans, shall be denatured or otherwise identified as prescribed by the director, prior to being offered for sale or transportation in intrastate commerce, to prevent its use as human food, and shall be in compliance with Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 19200) of this part and Chapter 10 (commencing with Section 113025) of Part 6 of Division 104 of the Health and Safety Code.(Amended by Stats. 1996, Ch. 1023, Sec. 57.
