§ 18848

It is unlawful for any person to sell any dressed carcass of any livestock or poultry which is intended for food purposes, or any prepared meat or meat food product or poultry product within the state unless it bears the 'inspected and passed' stamp of federal inspection or state inspection applied at the establishment where the animal was slaughtered and at the establishment where the meat or meat food product, or poultry or poultry product was prepared or manufactured.(Added by Stats. 1970, Ch. 1385.)
