7903. The phrase 'appropriate public authorities' as used in Article 3 of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children means, with reference to this state, the State Department of Social Services, and that department shall receive and act with reference to notices required by Article 3 of the compact.(Enacted by Stats. 1992, Ch. 162, Sec. 10.
