7904. The phrase 'appropriate authority in receiving state' as used in paragraph (a) of Article 5 of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, with reference to this state, means the State Department of Social Services.(Enacted by Stats. 1992, Ch. 162, Sec. 10. Operative January 1, 1994.)
