7908.5. For the purposes of an interstate adoption placement, the term 'jurisdiction' as used in Article 5 of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children means 'jurisdiction over or legal responsibility for the child.' It is the intent of the Legislature that this section make a technical clarification to the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children and not a substantive change.(Added by Stats. 2002, Ch. 260, Sec. 7.
